Until today, neither medicine or surgery treatment is available to specifically treat ringing ears. Although a lot has been learned about the biology and neurology of tinnitus, there may still be years of waiting before the medical experts can find a definite cure for tinnitus.

However, it’s not the end of the world that you have ringing ears. If you have been going around looking for information, you’ll know that there are different potential ringing ears treatment available, to provide great relief to your ringing ears.

Avoid medicines that cause tinnitus

A number of modern drugs frequently contribute to tinnitus. Many common over-the-counter drugs stay in your body for a long time, and can contribute to your ringing ears, even if you’re not on a long-term treatment using the medication. Medications that have tinnitus as one of the side effects include statins (drugs used to lower cholesterol) and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as ibuprofen.

If you are on any drug treatment, you may want to research about the drug on the internet, and see if it can lead to symptoms of ringing ears.

Tinnitus retraining therapy

This is a typical therapy recommended for people with tinnitus by their doctors. Tinnitus retraining therapy (TRT) comprises counseling and listening to a noise generator. The therapy is founded on the basis that one can learn how to ignore the sound and dissociate from it.

The idea is that you want to learn how to disregard the sound and become unconscious to the ringing. The outcome with TRT appears to be promising, but it never really get rid of tinnitus. You’ll still feel its presence from time to time.

Masking the ringing

One natural way to relieve tinnitus is to simply ‘camouflage’ the ringing or other sounds with another sound in the background. For example, you can have the TV switched on with some background noises while you go to sleep. You may also want to get a special pillow that has a speaker built within, so that you can drift off to sleep while listening to the sound of the radio emitted from the pillow.

Eliminate stress as much as possible

Sometimes treating tinnitus can be as simple as lowering your stress level. Of course, this only applies if the major contributing factor of your tinnitus is stress. You’ll know stress is the primary reason to your ringing ears if:

* You are a very anxious person
* You worry a lot
* You think a lot and can’t fall asleep at night
* Your mind is always preoccupied with what lies ahead in the future

If you could find ways to reduce your stress, you’ll notice a great relief in your ringing ears, and possibly stop your ringing ears for good.

Natural cure for ringing ears

You may not believe this, but there are certain things you do or some factors from your surrounding that have caused your condition. It makes sense that the most important treatment to your ringing ears is to remove the contributing factors, in order to reduce the symptoms or even stop them completely.

Even though there are no medicine to cure tinnitus, you don’t have to give up, because there are a variety of natural tinnitus treatment options available to help you relieve ringing ears problem.

Natural Remedies for Arthritis

Arthritis is the name of any painful condition which affects the joints and which is one of the commonest causes of visits to the doctor.. Arthritis can make even the most simple daily activities such as walking a painful process.

Conventional painkillers and anti-inflammatory drugs have many side effects and sometimes may result in a faster progression of the damage to the joints. Fortunately there are natural alternative remedies based on a combination of diatary changes, nutritional supplements and various body and mind therapies.

There are different types of arthritis which affect the bones, the joints and the ligaments. One of the most common forms is called Osteoarthritis which destroys cartilage and can deform bone growth and it is one of the main causes of disability in elderly people. Another type is called Rheumatoid arthritis which causes your immune system to attack the tissues.

It has been found that diet and nutrition play a very important role. The arthritis is affected by a diet lacking vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids. Moreover the use of excessive fried food or smoking cigarettes will release free radicals that can damage the tissues around the joints. The effects of free radicals can be counteracted by a diet rich in antioxidants such as vitamins A, C and D, zinc and selenium.  It is also very useful to eat red grapes which contain a powerful antioxidant called resveratrol.

Another important factor is weight because too much weight will put joints under pressure. It is important to lose weight and to stay slim and a vegeterian diet can be very helpful.

There are also some herbal remedies which can be very useful such as the following:

  • Boswellia which is a small indian tree has been used for a long time in Ayurvedic medicine.  Research has identified many active ingredients in Boswellia which cause excellent improvements in pain and joint swelling.
  • Curcuma is another substance used for a long time in Ayurvedic and Chinise medicine. It is a common ingredient used to make curries and known also as turmeric which has potent medicinal properties very effective with all forms of arthritis
  • Devil’s Claw is another plant which benefits arthritis sufferersbecause it containa natural anti-inflammatory and pain relieving chemicals
  • Pycogenol which is a Pine bark extract. It is a anti-oxidant with anti-inflammatory properties.

You should also use nutritional supplements such as:

  • Glucosamine and Chondroitin. They help the repair and regrowth of cartilage and are especially useful with Osteoarthritis.
  • Celandrin which is a blend of fatty acids which can act as lubricants and decrease the inflammation.
  • B3 Vitamins supplements are also considered very useful.

Finally it should be mentioned that gentle exercise is very important. Activities such as walking and swimming are especially useful and should be dome regularly.

The Shoking Truth About Diabetes

The “World of Medicine” is scamming people – and even worse: with the help of “law-makers!”. It seems that “money” (as usual) has blinded doctors and medical practitioners to the degree that they are now willingly *suppressing* the truth regarding diabetes – its control and even its cure!

That’s right: I said it … “cure!”. And this should shock you even more: It seems that it’s against the law to say the word “cure” when describing anything that actually cures you.
Yet it’s very much okay to say that something “treats” or helps “offset” the symptoms of some health condition or disease.

But if you say “cure” (and this even includes when you in fact have a real and bona fide cure for something and can even prove it!) you can get arrested. Ever wonder why no one ever talks about “curing diabetes”? Everyone seems to be content with finding ways to “control diabetes” or “live with diabetes”. And for good reason.

No one’s out to “cure” anyone because there’s little money in doing so. Instead, keeping you sick and marginally pain-free is all anyone’s really out to do for you these days – as doing so means you being “forced” to buy all the same drugs over and over again, and again, and … (you get the point!). Of course, if a cure came along it would mean you buy it one time, and then you’re cured – and that’s that (over and done!)

Listen, if somebody showed you how to cure diabetes… they wouldn’t make very much money off of you. Right? But if somebody invents a pill or a shot that helps you live with diabetes… they’ll get your money week-after-week, month-after-month, year-after-year until the day you die. Make sense? In fact, there’s a saying in the drug industry: Cures Kill Profits!

I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to have to depend on some big drug company to keep me alive and comfortable just so I can give them more of my hard-earned money every month. I’d much rather take control of my own health and find a way to banish diabetes.

Now a number of doctors, medical scientists and researchers armed with “real answers” and “real solutions” are stepping up and are NOT afraid . One courageous fellow by the name of Matt Traverso is doing exactly this! Not only that, but Matt Traverso has lectured and personally helped individuals beat the disease to the point that proven sufferers have actually gotten re-diagnoses as “no longer having the disease at all!” (Something that’s pretty much always been ruled out as a possibility altogether! – and now which may even be against the law!)

But why don’t we hear about this information from the American Diabetes Association? The truth is, the American Diabetes Association are benefiting hugely from the current trend in diabetes. They are funded by pharmaceutical companies who would lose out if people reversed there diabetic conditions. The treatment of Diabetes brings in over $10 Million Dollars EVERY SINGLE HOUR of the day to Doctors, Pharmaceutical companies, and testing supply businesses. With that kind of money at stake Big Pharma is going to extreme lengths to silence information about natural cures and alternatives for treating diabetes.

Ways To Conquer Acne

The most effective methods to combat acne include a combination of prevention and better skincare.

Here are some of the ways you can use to prevent and treat acne:

1. Exercise
Regular exercise can help fight acne by fighting off negative stress levels that can come from negative self-esteem and depression. But avoid wearing tight lycra and nylon exercise outfits. These synthetic fabrics that tend to trap body moisture and heat, creating an ideal environment for bacteria to grow. Stick to loose clothing made of cotton or natural blends, and keep your sports gear and equipment clean.

2. Safe Cosmetics
To avoid pore-clogging and skin irritations that can contribute to acne, use products labeled “noncomedogenic” or “oil-free.” Opt for “hypo-allergenic” perfumes and cosmetics to avoid allergic reactions and skin irritation. Coal tar derivatives, carmine and heavy cream in blushes can cause reactions.

Shimmering facial colors can contain a flaky mineral called mica that can cause skin irritations and clog pores. Use a lip gloss with a matte finish for less pore-clogging. The more the shine, the more then comedogenic content and the more your pores can clog.

3. Healthy Diet
Studies show that diet does not play a role in either the cause or the treatment of acne. However, what is best for your body is best for your skin. So make sure you get enough vitamins, minerals and supplements that have been known and recommended to prevent and help conquer acne breakouts. These include

* Vitamin A or Retinol (High doses are toxic)
* Vitamin B Complex
* Vitamin C
* Vitamin E
* L-Carnitine
* Zinc

A good quality brand name multivitamin will probably have the recommended vitamins and minerals that you need to help with acne prevention. Drinking plenty of fluids throughout the day and making good, healthy dietary food choices.

4. Hormonal Treatment
Hormones (or a lack of them) during later years – especially for women – can play a role in acne flare-ups and prevention. One recent study showed that about 50 percent of women have acne, referred to as hormonal acne, problems during the week before their menstruation.

Treatment options include topical retinoids, oral antibiotics and Benzoyl Peroxide for teen years. For adults oral contraceptives or hormonal birth control pills and hormonal replacement therapy (HRT) may be helpful for women, combined with systemic or topical treatments, prescription or over-the-counter products and medications.

5. Healthy Skin Regimen
Avoid harsh scrubbing or over-washing, because this can cause possible skin irritation or possible over production of oil to replace what’s washed off, clogging pores in the process. Use products with gentle exfoliation ingredients and skip products that contain alcohol.

6. Acne Products
Some of the more popular products on the market that can prevent acne include:

* Benzoyl Peroxide
* Proactive Solution
* Salicylic Acid
* Retinoids
* Antibiotics
* Oral Contraceptives
* Anti-Androgens
* Isotretinoin (Accutane)

7. Shaving
Shaving is actually an excellent way of exfoliating or removing dead skin to help with the prevention and spreading of acne instead of leaving the remains to clog pores. And for some light acne cases already in process, shaving can help rid whiteheads and blackheads from the face. Do not shave areas taht are sore or infected. Use a shaving cream for sensitive skin.

Shave with a sharp blade. Use gentle swipes instead of heavy pressure and go with the flow or “grain.” A single-edged blade is better than a twin-blade razor. Electric razors may not shave as close to the skin, but they help with the prevention of acne and other skin breakouts and flare-ups better.

8. Stress
Stress includes external and internal stressors. External Stressors are those that compromise your skin’s ability to heal, like oily make-up and too much sun. Internal stressors like anxiety, fear, low self-esteem, depression and a variety of other internalized emotions, can trigger chemical reactions inside your body that can result in acne flare-ups and other skin irritations.

To combat internal stressors and prevent acne problems, get plenty of rest and sleep. Try to maintain regular hours. Keep a check list of “Things that Calm You” handy for stressful times, like reading a book, resting, listening to music, taking a walk, going out for an ice cream cone, etc.
