Water main component of the body is essential for its proper functioning and health. In summer, we can more than usual, be exposed to high temperatures causing a high risk of dehydration. At the beach, on the road, outdoor … there are simple ways to compensate for the water we lose:
- Eat fruits and vegetables
In the summer of appetite can be missed because of the heat, but do not forget that water intake from food sources is essential to keep well hydrated. Indeed, the food we eat provide us between 20 and 30% of water daily. Some fruits and vegetables, such as tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, watermelon, melon full of water. Low in calories, so do not hesitate to eat them!
The water intake through food is not enough to keep the body hydrated. Water should be the first source of hydration for losses and simple reflexes allow to be constantly hydrated. For example, start the day with a glass of water.
